"Dear Me,
You’ve started to forget again.
You’ve begun to drift — lost in the noise, in people, in thoughts that don’t belong to you. So I’m writing this, for you to remember what you already know deep down:
You are a traveler.
You came into this life without a path laid out for you. A clean slate. You are free to draw it as you wish. Yes, there will be obstacles. Yes, you will stumble. But you walk alone — and one day, you will leave alone.
Still, life has a way of making you forget this truth. It surrounds you with people, smiles, temporary joys. And in those moments, you start to believe you are not alone. You start to believe the journey can be paused, delayed, or ignored.
But it can’t. You know that.
Remember the girl you liked once in college? You said you wanted to be friends — but it was something more. Maybe you laughed when you saw her, maybe you smiled like a child. But even that was just the forgetfulness of a traveler — one who lost himself in the scenery, not the destination.
She, too, is a traveler. Just like your parents. Your friends. Everyone. They’re all walking their own path — alone, just like you — and one day, they too will leave when their time comes.
So stop expecting someone to show you the way. Stop waiting for someone to walk it for you. No one can.
Most people wander endlessly. They forget they even have a destination. Why? Because they never question what they’ve been told. They fear that what they believe might be a lie. They fear waking up.
But not you.
You’ve glimpsed the truth before: Life isn’t a journey. It’s a cage. A windowless cell disguised with color, noise, and comfort. And the only way it becomes beautiful is if you learn how to break free.
So let me remind you: You are not here to laugh endlessly, to chase smiles that fade, to follow crowds that go nowhere.
You are here to complete the journey. To reach the destination only your soul remembers.
Stay awake. Because one day, you’ll sleep forever. And if you don’t complete the journey — then what was the point of knowing the truth?
